Hi, I’m Andrea! Welcome to my little corner of the internet.

I’m a 56-year-old lifestyle blogger living in Southern Virginia with my four beloved Yorkies, a mischievous Caique bird, and a Russian Tortoise who reminds me daily that slow and steady isn’t such a bad way to live. When I’m not creating content, you’ll usually find me spending time with family, caring for my mom, enjoying nature, reading a good book, or hunting for products and ideas that make everyday life a little easier and more enjoyable.

In October 2021, a serious health scare changed my perspective on life. It forced me to slow down, reevaluate my priorities, and focus on what truly matters. While I’m still navigating that journey, it has inspired me to embrace each day with gratitude, resilience, and a healthy dose of humor.

Life hasn’t always been easy. Along the way I’ve faced challenges including Complex PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, anxiety, diabetes, and the everyday aches and pains that seem to come with collecting a few decades of life experience. But those challenges don’t define me. Instead, they’ve taught me the importance of finding joy in small moments, celebrating progress over perfection, and creating a life filled with purpose, comfort, and connection.

Here at Miss Andrea Rae, you’ll find a little bit of everything that makes life interesting—health and wellness, mental health, food, dogs, crafts, product reviews, travel adventures, cozy living, and honest conversations about life’s ups, downs, and everything in between.

My hope is that when you visit, you’ll leave feeling inspired, encouraged, informed, or at the very least, smiling. Because life is full of stuff—the good, the messy, the unexpected, and the wonderful. We can’t always choose what comes our way, but we can choose how we experience it. I believe in finding joy where we can, laughing often, loving deeply, and filling our lives with as much good stuff as possible.
