Honestly, I don’t have complete memories of my childhood anymore due to physical abuse that I have experienced. Surprisingly <said in a playful sarcastic voice> most of the blips or glimpses of memories revolve around dogs. One blip that stands out is of my Grandparents dog Tiger (a black lab)…he was standing on the landing at the top of the basement steps and I asked him for a hug to which he puts his paws up on my shoulders…everyone starts with the freak out over the fear that Tiger will accidentally knock me down the steps. I remember telling them to stop because he was just hugging me and hugs never hurt.
