Right now, it is just so difficult to do a lot of the things that I used to be able to do without hesitation. I used to have more energy, and I could do more things and be more active.
But now my energy is just drained from doing the simplest thing like toasting a bagel or getting a glass of water. Brushing my teeth takes an effort; taking a shower takes an effort; getting dressed takes enough effort.
This isn’t the life I wanted, but I got it when I got septic shock, and I’m doing my very best to recover and redefine who I am now.
So that I can live my best life.
